Date stamps - imprint sizes
Below please find an overview of the design areas of all our date stamps as a PDF file.
For the design of your date stamp, please also refer to our guidelines for creating graphic stamps. You can use the entire area (grey) for the design (no margins have to be left). Also note that the date field will be cut out. Nothing can be designed in the date area shown in blue.

Instructions for designing your individual date stamp using a graphics programme or Word/Excel
USING A GRAPHIC PROGRAMM:
- Download PDF 'Trodat date stamps imprint size' (see above)
- Select the preferred model and transfer the design area to your graphics program (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
- Complete grey area can be designed (no margin required), blue date field will be cut away during production (no design possible here)
- Save finished layout as PDF or tif-file (600dpi)
- Select the preferred model online and upload the graphics. Use 'search' on our front page or search in the respective category
- If necessary, use positioning arrows to move uploaded artwork so that no elements are cut away by the date field
- Simply order your bespoke date stamp online
USING EXCEL ODER WORD:
- Download PDF 'Trodat date stamps imprint size' (see above)
- Design your date stamp in Word or Excel
- Please note the exact measurements of the desired date stamp
- Print out your design and measure to make sure the size is right and you have left enough space for the date field
- Save your design as a PDF file
- Select the preferred model online and upload the graphics. Use 'search' on our front page or search in the respective category
- If necessary, use positioning arrows to move uploaded artwork so that no elements are cut away by the date field
- Simply order your individual date stamp online
When designing your date stamp, make sure you do not place any elements behind the date field.
